Toshiba p/n MK2006GAL, non-Apple logo. Replacement 20Gb hard drive for fourth (4th) generation Apple iPods or the iPod Photo. These are new drives, we have formatted them for 4th generation iPods with the Windows format. If you are going to be using them for Macintosh or in an iPod Photo let us know and we will re-format it for you. Don't worry if you forget to ask because you can also use the Apple iPod updater program free from Apple to change the format if needed.

LAPTOP OWNERS!!! Yes, this is the drive you have been looking for!!!!! Even though it's already formatted for windows we recommend reformatting it when you put it in your laptop in order to wipe out the iPod firmware on the drive and give yourself the use of the space it was using.

NOTE: These are non-Apple logo drives (they don't have the little Apple symbol on the label). They work just fine in the 4th. Gen and Photo iPods.

NOTE: The blue rubber mountings are NOT included and the blue foam used on 4th gen. drives is NOT included but you can use both of the ones from your existing drive on this new one. If you do not plan on using your existing mountings check our iPod parts section to see if we have any in stock.

NOTE: This drive (MK2006GAL) will not work in 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation iPods. It is for 4th gen. / Photo 20Gb ipods

NOTE: You can also use an MK3006 30Gb drive to upgrade your 20Gb (4th. gen. Photo) iPod to a 30gb!!!!!
