Replacement LCD screen for the HP iPaq 5455 and 5555. This is an LCD screen replacement. The digitizer (the glass on top of the screen that records where you touch it with the stylus) is NOT included. If your screen has developed lines, the backlight has burned out, it has started 'bleeding' or has otherwise become damaged then here is a great tested replacement screen. If the glass on top of your screen is cracked then you need a digitizer or a digitizer and the screen. But the digitizer is NOT included with this item.

Installation Tip: When opening the HP iPaq 5x55 use a T5 size torx driver to remove the four screws on the back of the case. Open the case from the sides and bottom first then slide it slightly upward towards the top of the unit very slightly before completely removing the back. Note that the black plastic at the top of the PDA is a part of the back so be careful not to break any of the retaining clips. Reverse that process when closing the case.

Installation Tip: Make sure you remove the stylus and any expansion cards before removing the back case.
